We are a student-founded sustainable apparel brand turning discarded PET plastic bottles into wearable clothing and related artworks, each of which can make the wearer feel truly proud from the bottom of their heart.
Our project grew out of an encounter with a materials engineering lab researching PETase, an enzyme capable of breaking down PET chemically. Instead of relying solely on repeatedly shredding and remelting plastic, PETase works at the molecular level, breaking PET into smaller chemical components that can potentially be used again (for more science, scroll to the bottom!)

Beyond the Hoodie
Reviven is currently working on turning waste into something to be recycled, but also as a medium for design.
Working with friends and members of our community, we collected discarded bottles from around campus, local partners, and places where much of this plastic otherwise had little chance of being recycled.
Each sculpture is intentionally recognizable as plastic. Rather than hiding where the material came from, we wanted the bottles themselves to remain part of the piece, a reminder of how much possibility can exist in something we normally use once and throw away.
Impact & Where is Our Profit Going?
In addition to making these amazing apparel items, we have been, and will continue to, donate half or more of the profits to non-profit/research organizations dedicated to carbon reduction! Current collaborators include

We are dedicated to further research in carbon reduction and supporting related education. Our future plans include expanding our product lines and curating school merch-related collections. Currently experimenting with creating corporate uniforms.
